Tipping on Board: Most cruise lines average about $10.00 per days for 7 day sailings which include your cabin
steward, waiter, bus boy and Matre’d. When you order a drink the tip is automatically added into your total and
charged to your shipboard account.
Currency: On the ship your charges are applied to your Sea Pass Account which you establish at the time of
boarding.
Restaurants: The type of restaurant and the cuisine served vary depending on the ship. Most cruise lines offer
various dining options: Traditional, Formal, Specialty Dining (Fee), and Casual. Some even have delis, pubs,
or ice cream parlors where you can order food. (There could be a fee for any of these services)
Laundry Services: The majority of ships offer Laundry & Dry Cleaning services for a fee as well as have coin
operated laundry rooms for use.
Drinks – The “Free” drinks on most ships are coffee/tea, juice in the dining room and ice tea. All soda,
non-alcoholic, and alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. Some ships offer a Soda Card for purchase
